Annie (USA) |

Annie is a student who has a severe hearing loss and has been
integrated into a regular classroom for many years. She began
using AudiSee in September of 2002 when she was in grade 6. Previously, she had always functioned with an
audio-only FM system. One day her mother heard about AudiSee and
spoke to Annie's Speech-Language-Pathologist about the system.
Since the Speech-Language-Pathologist was unfamiliar with the
system, the mother approached the school board. That is when the
school board decided to invite someone from AudiSoft to meet
with all school board representatives, the
Speech-Language-Pathologist, the teacher, Annie and her mother.
Annie reacted positively to the system. Since Annie had received
a brand new wireless FM system, she wanted to use both her FM
system and AudiSee together. So she could hear her teacher's
voice through her new wireless FM system and see her teacher's
face via AudiSee's screen. Annie has been using AudiSee regularly since the 6th grade. She has gained confidence in herself and is proud of her academic performance. |
