Helen is in College and has a cochlear implant. The Special
Needs Department within the College purchased an AudiSee system
due to the fact that Helen was previously missing information in
class and needed support. In this case, Helen was interested in
hearing her teacher's voice through her cochlear implant
processor. AudiSoft was given Helen's cochlear implant
specifications (i.e. manufacturer's name, model, serial number,
etc.). This information enabled AudiSoft to provide Helen with
the appropriate cable. Helen can now hear her teacher's voice
through her implant and can see the teacher's face via the
AudiSee screen. Helen has been using AudiSee since Fall of 2002. |
